Michael Harris, M.D.

Michael Harris, M.D. was born and raised Kingston, PA.   He graduated from Colgate University and completed his medical training at Tulane University in New Orleans. He received his pediatric training from Georgetown University and joined Pediatric Associates of Kingston in 1980. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Diplomate, American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the Northeast Pediatric Society. He also is an adjunct clinical faculty member of King's College Physician Assistant program.

Stinger Removal:
Try to Remove the Stinger (if present): Use a fingernail or credit card edge to scrape it off. Don't pull it off. (Reason: squeezes out more venom). If the stinger is below the skin surface, leave it alone. It will be shed with normal skin healing.
